Project Manager

About

Patsy, or ‘Pats’ if you wanna be all cool about it, is our Project Manager at Illustrate. She’s the person responsible for putting a big smile on faces of our clients and making sure things are done on time. It helps that she’s also one of the cheeriest team members too.

The role of Project Manager for a design and development team isn’t an easy one, but Patsy makes it look like a doddle (or “doduwl” if you’re speaking in her native London accent). If you’re working with us and thinking to yourself “hmm, this all seems a lot easier than I was expecting it to be,” that’s probably because Patsy is fighting fires, herding cats and making it all look incredibly graceful to keep you at ease and take the weight off your hands!

On a slightly more serious note, Patsy joined us at Illustrate with a heap of experience working with development teams, multiple projects and multiple clients, which makes her a perfect fit for dealing with the day-to-day of producing great work here with us. We’ve got some incredible processes that make sure we get stuff done to a high level of quality and it’s Patsy’s job to make sure these processes are water tight and that everyone is following them. She’s probably the most active team member, since she’s hardly ever sat down at her own desk; you’ll normally find her perched next to a developer, going through the fine details of a project and getting ready to feed back to a client on how their work is coming along.

Speaking of active, Patsy’s got a put-the-rest-of-us-to-shame sort of hobby. In her time out of the office she’s a qualified ‘Bounce’ instructor, which is an epic workout that involves bouncing on a small trampoline to pumping music. Want some more fun Patsy facts? Okay! She’s also a vegetarian, has a husband called John who loves good banter as much as Patsy does, together they own some lovely cats and they both love to cook interesting and tasty things that don’t involve meat. Patsy also flippin’ loves deadlines, just throwing that in there. 😉
