Client Relationship Manager

Salary: £22,000 to £26,000 depending on experience

As a Client Relationship Manager at Illustrate Digital, you’ll be working in our client services team to help strategise and manage our fantastic clients’ projects.

You’ll be assisting daily client relationship tasks; such as planning, briefing, idea creation and admin responsibilities. You’ll be working with set clients to pitch solutions to grow their business through their website development.

You’ll also be working alongside our project manager, as well as the wider UX and engineering teams, to brief and schedule work and keep an eye on progress and commercials.

  • Creating strong community and relationships with clients and key partner companies
  • Meeting with clients to help strategise and roadmap changes to their digital solutions
  • Consulting with UX designers, developers and project managers to plan and develop solutions
  • Drafting statements of work to clearly communicate project scope internally and externally
  • Touching base with clients to ensure they remain informed and to gather valuable feedback
  • Creating strong community and relationships with clients and key partner companies
  • Gaining a deep understanding and assist in improvement of our service offering and capabilities
  • Actively seeking to up-sell clients where it is appropriate and valuable to their brand or business

Skills, Experience and Background

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Able to build trust and good relationships with clients and their teams
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Upsell products and services
  • Work collaboratively with technical and sales teams to meet customer needs
  • Act as one point contact for all customer requirements
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets
  • Experience in tracking relevant KPIs (e.g. customer satisfaction)
  • Proficient in GSuite (Docs, Sheets, Slides), with working knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g. HubSpot)
  • A customer-oriented attitude
  • BSc/BA in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field is advantageous but not essential
  • Background in customer service; industry knowledge is a plus
