About You

If you’re someone who is looking to get stuck in with prototyping software and website products, based on research and aimed at driving true results for brands and users, then this could be the perfect role for you.

You’re ideal for this role if you’re an analytical and creative designer, able to identify commercial challenges, grasp user needs and solve problems.

We’re looking for someone to join the growing team at Illustrate Digital, someone who wants to get stuck in and help take us to the next level by producing industry-leading experience designs.

Working with the Illustrate Digital team will allow you to shape the user experience arm of our business, educate clients of the importance of UX and lead other team members in line with best practices.

When considering this role, some of the key traits/skills/experiences you may possess are:

a proven career in UX/UI design or similar roles
experience with market research and user research
confidence when running workshops and communicating with stakeholders
familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
thriving when solving problems and making decisions to improve digital experiences
a drive to achieve results for clients
understanding product specifications and user psychology
can conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback
being comfortable and constructive when delivering feedback to others
taking pride in your work and the team you’re a part of
maintaining social connection and good communication even virtually

About The Role

As a senior UX designer at Illustrate Digital you’ll be responsible for researching, planning and producing user-focussed designs in collaboration with client stakeholders and our internal engineering teams. As a business with a passion for people, it’s important that all of the work we produce is focussed on providing only the very best experiences, and as leaders in our field we consider this role as critical to our success, future growth and overall reputation.

Working as part of the production team you’ll know how to deliver effective UX prototypes and UI mockups. These designed prototypes, using software such as Sketch, Figma and InVision, will allow us to benchmark against technical possibilities, real user requirements and guide us through to engineering high quality web products.

The best person for this role is someone who believes in the importance of doing things well, to a high standard and who would be keen to bring their experience and help implement new processes, creative ideas and innovative practices to help their teammates to succeed.

We’d like nothing more than to put an end to the all too common pain points experienced by brands with other agencies.
