Modern Slavery Policy

Illustrate Digital Ltd.

Illustrate Digital Ltd is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all business dealings and relationships. We are opposed to all forms of modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour and exploitation, and we take steps to ensure these practices have no place within our organisation or supply chain.

1. Our business

Illustrate Digital Ltd is a UK-based digital agency specialising in WordPress development and user experience design. Our operations are carried out entirely within the UK and our supply chain is primarily UK-based. The company’s annual turnover is below the threshold set out in section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015; however, we recognise our responsibility to prevent modern slavery in any part of our business.

2. Our approach

We maintain a zero-tolerance stance on modern slavery and human trafficking. We expect the same commitment from all organisations we work with. Our employment practices are compliant with UK employment law, and we do not employ anyone under the legal working age or in conditions that could be considered exploitative.

3. Supply chain and due diligence

We work mainly with trusted UK suppliers who share our ethical standards. While our supply chain is considered low-risk, we take a serious approach to supplier due diligence and continually developing policies and procedures to ensure all partners meet our standards for ethical conduct and fair employment.

4. Employment and conduct

All team members are either directly employed or engaged under written contracts that comply with UK law. Freelancers and contractors are required to act in accordance with our internal policies and ethical code. Our whistleblowing and grievance procedures enable anyone with concerns about unlawful or unethical behaviour to report issues safely and confidentially.

5. Awareness and training

Modern slavery awareness is included within our staff handbook and induction materials. As our policies develop, we will continue to promote understanding of modern slavery risks and responsible business practices across our team.

6. Governance and review

This policy is approved by the Board of Illustrate Digital Ltd and reviewed on a biannual basis to ensure its relevance and effectiveness. Updates are published on our website as appropriate.
