Moving your website to a different agency sounds more dramatic than it usually is. In practice, we follow a structured handover process: first we audit your current setup to understand what we’re working with, then we take ownership of the codebase and (only if needed) migrate your hosting. Once everything’s in our care, we prioritise addressing any security or performance issues the audit uncovered before moving into ongoing maintenance and improvements. The whole process is designed to minimise disruption while maximising the opportunity to put things right.
We hold ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certifications, which means our quality management and information security practices meet internationally recognised standards. Beyond the credentials, we’ve built our reputation on taking the hassle out of complex WordPress situations. When you work with us, you work directly with our experts rather than through layers of account management. We’re genuinely invested in making your website an asset rather than a headache.
No. We plan migrations carefully to ensure continuity. If hosting needs to move as part of the process, we handle DNS changes and server configuration to avoid downtime. Your visitors won’t notice anything’s changed; you’ll just have a better and more dedicated team looking after things behind the scenes.
Every migration starts with a thorough audit. We’ll familiarise ourselves with your codebase and architecture, assess security vulnerabilities, review performance metrics, and benchmark your setup against industry best practices. This gives us (and you) a clear picture of where things stand and what needs attention first. It also means there are no nasty surprises once we’ve taken ownership.
Honestly, that’s fairly common. Around half of our work involves improving existing WordPress infrastructures, so we’re well versed in inheriting sites that need attention. Once we’ve completed the audit, we’ll share our findings and recommendations with you. High-priority items like security risks get addressed immediately; other improvements can be planned into a roadmap that suits your budget and timescales. What’s most important is that we don’t allow this to overshadow your growth roadmap. Finding balance between your foundation and your growth is key to how we plan our time.
The handover itself can usually be completed within a few weeks, depending on how smoothly we can coordinate with your outgoing agency and whether hosting needs to move. The audit and initial stabilisation work typically adds another few weeks. After that, you’re into normal service with us, which includes ongoing maintenance and any enhancement work you’d like to get going with.
Not unless you want to. Migration and redesign are separate things. We can absolutely take your existing site into our care, stabilise it, and keep it running well whilst you plan your next phase, whatever that might be. If a redesign or rebuild is on your horizon, we can help with that too. But our first priority is to improve what you already have, not convince you to build something new if that’s not necessary.
