I’m very excited to announce that we’re back for another full season as official sponsors of the Cardiff Devils Ice Hockey!
Last season the team did incredibly well with both our staff, clients and friends enjoying many thrilling games down at Ice Arena Wales. By the end of the season the Devils had won not one, not two, but THREE cups: the Challenge Cup, the Erhardt Conference and the Elite League, which also gave the team automatic access to the 2017 Champions Hockey League, playing all across Europe.
Having followed the ice hockey since our move to Cardiff a good few years ago, I’m always thrilled to bring our guests into the electric atmosphere at IAW in The Bay. It’s great to see the boys doing so well on the ice and getting stuck into the community off the ice too. It really is a no brainer for us to attach ourselves to such an iconic sports team in Wales, with a long history and a very bright future. We’re proud to be a part of supporting the Devils journey.
We’ll be the first to admit that digital agency life is pretty tough, as in any business, so giving ourselves a way to relax and enjoy a local sport is a great opportunity for all involved.

And for anyone who hasn’t experienced the joy of watching 12 crazy guys with funny shaped sticks chasing a bit of black rubber around a sheet of ice, with the occasional punch up in between, you really should come down and give it a watch – it’s very addictive!
In all seriousness though, ice hockey is a growing sport in the UK and we’re honoured to be attached to one of the clubs at the forefront of that growth. We’re really looking forward to seeing where this year takes the Cardiff Devils and we wish the team all the very best of puck in the 2017-2018 season ( sorry, couldn’t resist 😉 ).
