We’re really excited about these 3 Welsh award nominations that we’ve received, so wanted to share a little more detail about them with you.

The team worked really hard in 2016 for us to really get ahead of the game and to treat our clients to the best possible web design and development they could have hoped for. I think it’s a real testament to the work the team did by the end of the year and we’re proud to be celebrating our success going into 2017!

Cardiff Life Awards 2017.

Cardiff Life is a brilliant, vibrant magazine sharing the very best of what’s going on in Cardiff. Each year they run the Cardiff Life Awards, quite easily one of the most prestigious award ceremonies that happens each year in our city. Proudly we’ve been nominated alongside the likes of Lexus and Cardiff & Vale College in the Business Services category, for providing an excellent service to our clients, helping them grow their business.

The ceremony for these awards is happening on Thursday 16th March 2017.

Welsh Business Awards 2016.

Young Entrepreneur of the Year

Run by the South Wales Chamber of Commerce, the Welsh Business Awards are another prestigious awards event held at the National Museum in Cardiff and hosted this year by Gethin Jones. This one was a particular surprise to me, because the team had entered us under the Young Entrepreneur of the Year category… For me! It’s fair to say I was shocked when the letter came through.

This awards ceremony has been and gone in February and, sadly, we didn’t win. But there’s always next year! And of course we’re chuffed to have been nominated in the first place.

Business Growth Awards South Wales 2017.

Business Growth Awards South Wales

The local business directory, thebestofcardiff, arranged the Business Growth Awards South Wales to celebrate small businesses making an impact in terms of their growth in 2016 and 2017. This one is quite close to our hearts as a business because the category we were nominated for was People Development. The award category was all about how a business had been developing their staff and clients over the last year and it’s an honour to have been nominated as a finalist for this category.

Again, these awards have been and gone and it was someone else’s turn to win this time around. But that’s not going to stop us developing our people or our clients in what’s yet to come for Illustrate in 2017. It’s a real privilege to have been recognised for the work we’ve done to develop people!
