Salary: £24,000 to £28,000 FTE

About The Role

As a quality engineer at Illustrate Digital you’ll be responsible for checking and approving projects before they are deployed to our clients and their users. As a business that values excellence, it’s important that all of the work we produce is of the highest quality and standards, and so we consider this role as critical to our success.

Working as part of the production team you’ll know how to deliver clear and constructive feedback to the design and engineering teams, helping them to improve and sharpen their work.

In the early stages of projects you’ll work closely with the user experience team to test prototype designs and provide feedback against usability and accessibility best practices.

You’ll also be central to technical testing when the front-end and back-end engineering teams complete work on websites and software projects. These are key opportunities for feedback and for testing against predefined coding standards and ensuring the end user experience of our work aligns with the intended user stories.

The best person for this role is someone who believes in the importance of doing things well, to a high standard and who knows how to implement new processes to help their teammates to succeed.
